David Porterfield is one of hundreds of avid bicyclists who embarked on a tour around the world in the year 2000. As you can imagine, this endeavor was not easy or inexpensive. In the months prior to the tour, he was soliciting donations for Habitat For Humanity. The organization kept a large percentage of those donations, but gave a small portion to David. This arrangement is no longer in affect, but that should not stop you from donating to HFH.
